Kevin Bohli, Director |

Kevin Flores, Assistant Director |
Kevin graduated from Virginia Tech in 1994 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He is currently working on his Masters in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Feeling called to serve the youth of the Church, in 1997 he left his engineering job to pursue full-time youth minisistry in Fairbanks, Alaska. While there, he met his wife-to-be Angie, and soon returned to the Arlington Diocese to settle down in Fairfax.
In October 2001, Kevin accepted the position as the Director for the Youth Office. Kevin and Angie have been blessed with three beautiful girls and a recent newborn baby boy. Kevin enjoys any outdoor activity that requires lots of expensive equipment (camping, climbing, mountaineering, biking, etc.). |

Kevin, a native Southern Californian, graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 1990 with a B.A. in Broadcast Communications. He worked in Tinseltown (Hollywood) for over ten years, working on such shows as the "People's Court" and the animated movie "Annabelle's Wish".
Kevin & his wife Evelyn are shown here with their neice celebrating Disneyland's 50th anniversary. Kevin met Evelyn while working at an amusement park in Santa Clara (Great America), and they have been married for over fifteen years. Though they have no children yet, they both come from large families and at present have over nineteen nieces and nephews.
Since 1985, Kevin has volunteered at many parishes, but Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano (home of the "swallows") has been the place since 1995. In 2001, he became the Director of Life Teen for the parish. In December 2005, his wife Evelyn was asked to transfer to Washington DC on a 5+year job. They have settled down in Alexandria and still are adapting to the area. As California natives would say: we are not used to the "seasons" of the year! |

| Elizabeth Sieb, Coordinator of Hispanic Youth Ministry |
|
Jim Bacigalupi, WorkCamp Projects Coordinator |
Elizabeth spent her childhood in the Mid-West, Indiana and Wisconsin specifically. Her family moved to Herndon, Virginia in 1999 where she attended high school and then went on to graduate from the University of Mary Washington in May 2007 with a B.A. double-major in Spanish and Spanish Linguistics. She also spent a semester abroad in Seville, Spain studying (well mostly traveling!) and absorbing all the language and culture she could. Did she mention that she enjoys traveling?!
Elizabeth likes planning events and was actively involved in the Catholic Campus Ministry at Mary Washington. Some of the events she planned included the 30 Hour Famine, Christian Unity Week, and Theology of the Body sessions. Elizabeth enjoys the outdoors, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and particularly rock climbing! She is most excited about her "ascent" to the position of the Coordinator of Hispanic Youth Ministry, and believes of youth ministry, as in all our work, that
Everything indeed is for you, so that the grace bestowed in abundance on more and more people may cause the thanksgiving to overflow for the glory of God.
--- 2 Cor 4:15 ---

Jim works year-round to create our summer WorkCamp that serves hundred of youths and adults in the Diocese of Arlington. Jim locates and builds relationships with the families that we serve and the organizations that assist us in our annual endeavor.
Jim and his wife Jamie live in Annandale where they have raised five children. Their oldest son recently deployed with a National Guard unit from New York for Iraq, so please keep their family in your prayers. Also, please add a few prayers of thanksgiving for their family, as Jim and Jamie will become grandparents in May, just a few weeks before WorkCamp!! |

| Sarah Richardson, Administrative Assistant |
|
Paul Bevins, WorkCamp Projects Coordinator |
Sarah is a native of Northern Virginia and participated in many parish and Diocesan youth activities as a teenager. She attended Mary Washington College and is currently completing further coursework at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
Prior to joining the OYM staff, Sarah was a teaching assistant in a program for learning disabed girls at a Catholic high school in Baltimore. She learned many lessons about compassion, perserverence, and flexibility there. She also spent a year in Georgia, working with an outreach program of the Diocese of Savannah to provide clothing and financial assistance for mothers with young children.
Sarah enjoys reading, scrapbooking, writing and spending time with her housemates. Her most embarrassing moment was when she genuflected in a movie theater, and her favorite saints are Francis de Sales (thanks to Bishop Ireton HS) and Teresa of Avila. |

Paul, originally from Connecticut, graduated from the University of Virginia in 2000 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He moved in Arlington, Virginia after graduation, pursuing a career in project management with a general contractor. Shortly after graduation he stumbled upon high school youth ministry when a friend recruited him to volunteer at St. Charles Borromeo. It was through this ministry that he became involved with the summer workcamp, leading the youth group’s trips from the summers of 2001 through 2007.
After many amazing years as a volunteer youth minister, after many youth group weekly meetings, retreats, fundraisers and Workcamp weeks, the call to serve in youth ministry full-time presented itself to Paul in a unique WAY. As the WorkCamp Projects Coordinator, he is able to combine the two career-related things he that enjoys the most, engineering & project management with youth ministry. Paul also met his fiancée Melissa while volunteering with the high schoolers at St. Charles, and they plan to settle in the Northern Virginia area after their wedding in the Fall of 2008. |

| Reverend J.D. Jaffe, Spiritual Director |
|
Jaclyn Weber, Administrative Assistant |
Fr. J.D. Jaffe, ordained on June 7, 2003, was educated at North American Seminary in Rome. He is in residence at Blessed Sacrament in Alexandria, where he serves as Parochial Vicar. |
|

Jaclyn's family moved around a lot while she was growing up. When she was thirteen years old they finally settled in North Dakota where her parents are the caretakers of a Carmelite Monastery. Jaclyn attended Christendom College in Front Royal, VA where she earned a B.A. in History.
After graduating from college in May of 2006 she has been working several jobs including working as a legal secretary, grading for Seton, and nannying for a family with twelve children (now thirteen!). As if she was not busy enough, in the fall of 2007 she added raising a blue Great Dane puppy (Dido, shown in picture) to her already full plate. When she is not taking care of Dido, Jaclyn enjoys reading, dancing, and finding time to spend in the kitchen trying different gourmet recipes for friends to sample.
