Center for Ministry Development National Youth Ministry Certificate Program

CMD PICT
The Center for Ministry Development offers an eight-class program which covers the eight components of youth ministry as explained in Renewing the Vision. The primary aim of the program is to promote personal, spiritual, and ministerial growth. Each course involves the student in an intensive two-day session followed by a small group meeting to review the course materials and to apply them to the parish setting of the student. Participants also complete required reading for each course and submit a reflection paper or a project. This certification lets any parish in the country recognize that in addition to your experience, you also have the education to back up your ministry. This year we will be participating in the first four courses in the program. The classes are also a great opportunity to grow closer to youth ministers from our diocese and surrounding region. Call the Youth Office (703) 841 2559 for more information.
