Why I am a Youth Minister

Because God told me to. He spoke so loudly in my heart and soul, I couldn't ignore it. I volunteered with St Marks for four years, then took the step into full time ministry in July 2001. I can't imagine doing anything else; this job may be difficult at times, but it is such a blessing to be able to work with teens and help lead them to a deeper relationship with Christ.

About Me

God is good...all the time...all the time...God is good. He really is. I consider myself quite blessed with what life has shown me! I've got a wonderful family, amazing friends, and a fabulous job. I've been so lucky in the ministry experiences I've been able to have, both as a teen and as an adult. Getting involved in ministry has been such a source of blessing in my life--from the very first Mass at Workcamp when I was a teen, to a million retreats and alternative Spring Breaks in college, to CLCs, teen Masses, and Core Teams as a volunteer post-college, to rallies, ski trips, spiritual bootcamp, weekly meetings, random outings and World Youth Day as a full time youth minister. I've met incredible people, had amazing prayer experiences, seen such holiness, been so humbled, and learned so much. God never ceases to amaze me with the way He shines through such experiences.
